    Richard* , Finance Director, was worried that the CEO and Board were not alarmed by the financial analysis and forecasts that he was presenting. It was clear to him that they were heading for a bleak future.

     

    On the #MakingRoom6 programme Richard worked on strategies to improve relations with individuals and teams. We tackled how to take a step back and see how to tailor the way information reached decision-makers. Ultimately, through what he learnt and applied on the programme, he found ways to get traction and action on difficut messages .

    Naomi, Ops Director, was stressed and frustrated that an important system-change project was met with resistance and even a grievance raised against her.

     

    On the #MakingRoom6 programme she worked on taking a people-centred approach, meeting people where they were at, with all the human messiness that involves. Her stress levels went down, absenteism dropped, the grievance was withdrawn and staff gradually began to embrace the new system.
