A word about me
I'm Clare Bamberger and I set up Clear as a Bell because I wanted to share with you my enthusiasm and life-long experiences of creating clarity for new ways of doing things.
I’ve spent a career setting up and running my own small language and consultancy businesses and setting up new teams. To get faster and more sustainable results, I created the culture where teams work better together to have more impact.
Lots of what I learnt I did by instinct and learning on the job. I'm a naturally curious innovator and self-confessed learning junkie! Today I'm on a mission to share what I have learnt to help you involve the right people at the right time, to create your own thriving human-centred culture, whatever your project, from personal growth, team growth, business growth to strategic organisational change.
What I have set up from scratch:
- My own language teaching and translating business, at the tender age of 22, which ran for over 20 years
- Prospect research at The Children's Society, Fundraising Insight team at Chrisitan Aid, Services Insight at the House of Commons
- Consultancies for Insight, Strategic Direction and Governance with businesses and charities, large and small
- Coaching and training programmes for CEOs, leadership teams, aspiring leaders and managers to guide them to better decision-making for themselves and for their organisation, with a clearer sense of direction and 'people confidence'
I'm Trustee for a small international development charity, World Villages for Children, with responsibility for fundraising and impact. Includes designing their first theory of change to bring all the parts together.
Credentials
- Clare is a Certified coach, member of the Association for Coaching in the UK, a Certified Member of the Market Research Society and holds an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management and a BSc in Business Intelligence. She is bilingual and bi-national British - French.

From teaching languages, fundraising to market research, change management, through to behavioural science, impact assessment and coaching, Clare is certifiably curious, always on the lookout for the latest research, the next trends and opportunities to broaden and apply her knowledge.

- Farmhand - Saturday and holiday job as a teenager
- Builder - labourer on big building sites, on house renovations and on my own house renovations (I'm on number 6 at the moment - but doing less with my own hands this tirme round)
- Cook - providing French cuisine for holiday-makers in the Dordogne
- Bureaucracy buster and interpreter - for new English-speaking residents in France
